One of the largest free music festival in the country celebrates 30 years with an expanded schedule covering two magnificent Chicago venues - Grant Park's Petrillo Band Shell the neighboring Millennium Park's Pritzger Pavilion. The Chicago Blues Festival runs Thursday June 6 - Sunday June 9.
Highlights include:
- Thursday June 6 - Shemekia Copeland with east coast teenage guitar phenom Quinn Sullivan
- Friday June 7 - Irma Thomas and Bobby Rush
- Saturday June 8 - Otis Clay and Ronnie Baker Brooks
- Sunday June 9 - An all star ensemble called "Chicago Blues: Old School, New Millennium" featuring James Cotton, Billy Branch, John Primer, Eddie “The Chief” Clearwater and others.
